Ministry of WCD launched 8th Poshan Pakhwada nationwide campaign from April 9-23, 2026 focusing on maximizing brain development in first six years.
Campaign involves 14 lakh Anganwadi centers serving 8.9 crore beneficiaries with focus on nutrition, responsive caregiving, and early learning.
Since 2018, Poshan Abhiyaan has generated over 150 crore sensitization activities and 9.8 crore community-based events across India.
Live telecast reached 4.2 lakh stakeholders through NIC Webcast and Ministry's YouTube channel during inaugural event.
