The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is organizing the Prize Distribution Function of the 58th Youth Parliament Competition, 2025-26 for schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Department of Education, NDMC. The event will be held on Tuesday, 25th August 2026 at the GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament Library Building, Parliament House Complex, New Delhi.

Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, will preside over the function and distribute prizes to winning students and schools. Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi, which stood first in the competition, will stage a repeat performance of their "Youth Parliament Sitting" during the event.

The Ministry has been organizing Youth Parliament Competitions for schools in the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the past 60 years. The scheme aims to inculcate among young generations the spirit of self-discipline, tolerance of diverse opinions, righteous expression of views, and other democratic virtues. It also acquaints students with parliamentary practices and procedures, discussion techniques, and develops leadership qualities and effective oratory skills.

Bal Bharti Public School, Parwana Road, Pitampura, Delhi will receive the GV Mavalankar Running Parliamentary Shield and Trophy for standing first in the Competition, as well as the Trophy for standing first amongst New Entrant Schools. Additionally, merit trophies will be awarded to 11 other schools for their meritorious performance: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar CM Shri School (Dwarka Sector-22), Navyug School (Peshwa Road), Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School (S.P. Mukharji Marg), Baba Neem Karoli Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya (Jonapur), Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya (Prahladpur), Govt. Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No.1 (Jama Masjid), Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya (Gole Market), Dr. B.R. Ambedkar CM Shri School (Sector 17, Rohini), Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No.1 (Yamuna Vihar), Ishani Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya (G-Block Saket), and Kerala Sr. Sec. School (Vikaspuri).
