Ministry's Poshan Tracker Enables Real-Time Anganwadi Data

Ministry of Women and Child Development deployed Poshan Tracker for real-time monitoring of Anganwadi Services and beneficiaries.
Face Recognition System rolled out nationwide in December 2024 to prevent leakage, covering 47.8 million beneficiaries by February 2026.
97.01% of eligible beneficiaries completed e-KYC and face matching, with robust data privacy measures including encryption and annual audits.
Trained 41,645 State Level Master Trainers in Round 1 and 3,901 in Round 2 to support Anganwadi Workers using the digital application.
