The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving security situation in West Asia, with Prime Minister Modi expressing deep concern over the escalation of tensions in the region. The Prime Minister reaffirmed India's strong condemnation of attacks on Kuwait's sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing India's support for Kuwait's security. Modi reiterated India's consistent call for de-escalation, dialogue and diplomacy as the means to achieve the earliest restoration of peace and stability in the region. The Prime Minister also thanked His Highness the Amir for his personal attention to the continued well-being and safety of the large Indian community residing in Kuwait, acknowledging Kuwait's efforts in ensuring the protection of Indian nationals.
