MoFPI Schemes Boost Food Processing with Infrastructure and Farmer Benefits

MoFPI implements PMKSY, PLISFPI, and PMFME schemes to enhance food processing infrastructure and farmer benefits with significant financial outlays.
Under PMKSY, 1607 projects approved with Rs 6520 crore outlay until 2025-26 for food processing industries.
PLISFPI has 170 proposals approved with Rs 10,900 crore outlay until 2026-27 to create global food champions.
PMFME supports 1,72,707 micro-enterprises with Rs 10,000 crore for modernization until 2025-26.
