Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, released a compendium titled "51 Stories of Panchayats Bringing Change for Good Governance" in New Delhi. The compendium was prepared by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj in collaboration with Panchayati Raj Departments of various States and presents fifty-one case studies of successful redressal of Public Grievances received on the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).

Prof. Baghel stated that the compilation would serve as a valuable source of learning and inspiration for all stakeholders associated with the Panchayati Raj system, noting that every grievance resolved represents a meaningful step towards strengthening responsive, participatory and citizen-centric governance. Secretary Shri Vivek Bharadwaj emphasized that the Ministry has accorded highest priority to timely redressal of public grievances through CPGRAMS in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The case studies demonstrate how timely and effective resolution of citizens' concerns improves service delivery, strengthens accountability, enhances basic civic infrastructure and makes a tangible difference to people's lives at the grassroots level. Sustained efforts to address grievances, including those from the remotest parts of the country, have helped strengthen a responsive and citizen-friendly grievance redressal mechanism while reinforcing public trust in institutions.
