MSDE FY27 Budget Up 66% to Rs 9,540 Crore

MSDE's FY27 budget increased 66% to Rs 9,540.50 crore, primarily driven by PM-SETU scheme allocation of Rs 6,140.50 crore.
PM-SETU scheme aims to upgrade 1,000 ITIs in hub-spoke model and augment 5 NSTIs with national centers of excellence.
Ministry announced 15,000 AVGC Content Creator Labs in schools and developed NSQF courses for Semiconductor and Green Hydrogen sectors.
35 states/UTs identified clusters, 32 formed steering committees, and 12 floated RFPs for industry participation in PM-SETU.
