PM-SETU aims to reduce recruitment and training costs for industry while improving employment outcomes for youth
The approach is expected to directly benefit CSR beneficiaries and promote inclusive growth
Industries were suggested to collaborate with universities as knowledge partners to strengthen training frameworks
There was emphasis on transforming Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into centres of experiential learning
Modern infrastructure including sports facilities was highlighted as necessary for ITIs to function as holistic 'finishing schools'
