MSDE Promotes Dual System of Training and Apprenticeships

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is actively promoting the Dual System of Training (DST) to enhance industry exposure and employability by integrating institutional and on-the-job training.
In FY 2025-26, the AI Apprenticeship Programme saw 74,486 participants, and over 14,000 students are enrolled in the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree/Diploma Programme (AEDP).
The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS-2) provides stipend support of up to ₹1,500 per month per apprentice, with administrative processes streamlined via Third-Party Aggregators.
