The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2026, which was observed from 9th to 17th August 2026. The campaign aimed to inspire citizens to display the National Flag at their homes and workplaces while commemorating the 150th anniversary of India's National Song, "Vande Mataram."
On 13th August 2026, the Ministry organized a special program to promote patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag. The Secretary of the Ministry distributed the National Flag (Tiranga) among officers and officials and encouraged their active participation in the campaign. The program included the collective singing of "Vande Mataram" by officers and staff to mark its 150th anniversary.
Ministry officials and staff were encouraged to participate in the "Selfie with Tiranga" initiative by uploading photographs on the Har Ghar Tiranga website (www.harghartiranga.com). Attached, subordinate, and field offices under the Ministry were also directed to observe the occasion at their respective workplaces. The celebrations reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to fostering patriotism, unity, public participation, and respect for the National Flag.
