The Ministry of Women and Child Development, including all Autonomous/Statutory Bodies under its administrative control, has implemented Special Campaign 6.0 from October 2 to October 31, 2026, focusing on improving Swachhata and disposal of pending references, following the pattern of special campaigns conducted in the preceding five years. As part of this campaign's best practice adoption initiative, the Ministry conducted an Artificial Intelligence Workshop on October 17, 2026, for officers at Under Secretary level and above, delivered by the National e-Governance Division. The workshop was designed as a hands-on program with approximately 70% of sessions devoted to practical use of AI tools, attracting 42 participants including the Secretary, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, and other senior officers. The curriculum covered Introduction to AI, Prompt Engineering and AI Tools for Office Productivity, Hands-on with AI Tools, and Ethical and Responsible use of AI including Sovereign AI concepts.
