Program Name: Viksit Vibrant Village Program (VVVP) 2026

Total Volunteers: 500 MY Bharat volunteers
Selection Process: Nationwide online quiz competition with participation from over 3 lakh youth
Geographic Coverage: Border villages in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand
Phase-I Deployment: 250 volunteers across 43 villages
Phase-II Deployment: 250 volunteers across 50 villages (to be deployed later this month)
Program Duration: Seven-day immersion programme
Thematic Areas: Border awareness, cultural exchange, community living, governance, socio-economic assessment, village development planning, volunteerism, and national integration
Collaborating Agencies: Ministry of Home Affairs and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
