The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has operationalized a Points, Rewards and Recognition (PRR) Mechanism on the MY Bharat Portal to recognize and encourage sustained youth participation in volunteering, experiential learning, and nation-building activities. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized that "Yuva Shakti is the strength of Viksit Bharat" through this initiative that turns participation into recognition, opportunity, and leadership.

The PRR mechanism establishes a structured, milestone-based system where youth receive recognition based on points accumulated through portal engagement. At 1,000 points, participants receive a formal MY Bharat Letter of Recognition signed by the Director. At 2,500 points, eligible participants are recognized through official MY Bharat social media handles with consent-based publication of name, photograph, and ID. Youth achieving 5,000 points are featured in a dedicated MY Bharat Digital Hall of Fame showcasing their name, ID, photograph, and brief profile.

The reward structure progresses with tangible incentives: at 7,500 points, participants receive the hardbound book Modi@20; at 10,000 points, a signed hardbound copy of The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World by William Dalrymple signed by the Minister of State; and at 20,000 points, a signed hardbound copy of Treasures of India: From Antiquity to Modernity by DK signed by the Union Minister.

The highest milestones provide direct interaction opportunities: at 50,000 points, eligible youth can meet the Minister of State during Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue or major youth events, while at 100,000 points, they can meet the Union Minister during similar events. The felicitation for these highest milestones is proposed to commence from October 2027, with achievers identified through the portal and verified by MY Bharat Headquarters.

The initiative reinforces the "Samarth Yuva, Viksit Bharat" vision, recognizing active youth as central to India's development journey by creating a sustained culture of participation, service, and leadership through progressive recognition pathways.
