The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, organized an Industry Association Conclave at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, bringing together over 20 leading industry associations, corporates, public sector enterprises, CSR organizations and senior government officials. The conclave aimed to build strategic partnerships through the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) ecosystem to expand opportunities for young people through skilling, volunteering, internships, entrepreneurship, innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, while advancing the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized that India's demographic dividend, with nearly 65% of the population below age 35, represents the country's greatest strength and soft power. He stated that connecting youth with industry through the MY Bharat Platform can unlock their potential and accelerate progress toward Viksit Bharat@2047. The MY Bharat Digital Platform, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is designed as a single window platform connecting young people with opportunities for learning, volunteering, innovation, skill development and leadership.

Minister of State Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse called for industry associations to integrate their youth initiatives with the MY Bharat Digital Platform, emphasizing that youth development extends beyond skilling to creating responsible citizens who participate in building an inclusive India. She noted that the platform serves as a bridge connecting talented youth with opportunities regardless of geography.

Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Secretary of Youth Affairs, highlighted that MY Bharat is evolving into a comprehensive digital ecosystem that identifies young people's aspirations and connects them with opportunities for learning, volunteering, innovation, entrepreneurship and employment. Ms. Deepti Gaur Mukerjee, Secretary of Corporate Affairs, emphasized the potential of structured collaboration between industry and youth, encouraging industry associations to support structured training, mentorship and experiential learning opportunities.

The conclave included representatives from leading industry associations including CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM, PHDCCI, India SME Forum, Indian Banks' Association, IPA, ISPA, SIA, NHRDN, CAIT, WTC Mumbai and AIAI, along with major CSR organizations. Participants deliberated on collaborative models for expanding volunteering, skilling, internships and youth engagement through the MY Bharat ecosystem. The event concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen government-industry partnerships, onboard industry stakeholders onto the MY Bharat platform, and build a robust national ecosystem for youth opportunity expansion.
