The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports is strengthening youth empowerment through the MY Bharat digital platform, which has achieved significant registration milestones and expanded service offerings. Since its launch, the platform has registered 2,46,52,142 (2.46 crore) youth nationwide, with state-wise registration data showing Uttar Pradesh leading with 25,06,907 registrations, followed by Rajasthan (20,39,230), Maharashtra (15,18,436), Tamil Nadu (15,02,286), and Madhya Pradesh (14,32,089).
The platform has facilitated substantial youth engagement through Experiential Learning Programmes (ELPs), with over 1,22,000 youth enrolling in approximately 25,000 programmes across diverse sectors. These programmes include India Post ELP, Jan Aushadhi ELP, Seva Se Seekhen ELP, Public Distribution System (PDS) ELP, Sadak Suraksha Mitra ELP, Radio Production and Presentation ELP, Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) ELP, Youth Engagement with Senior Citizens at Care Homes ELP, and the Semiconductor Training Programme, with durations ranging from 20 to 360 hours. All participants receive digitally validated certificates through the MY Bharat portal.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is leveraging MY Bharat for youth mobilization under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS), with 98,632 youth redirected from the MY Bharat Portal to the PMIS Portal for registration and application as of July 16, 2026.
Technological enhancements include AI-powered features such as an AI-enabled CV Builder developed in coordination with Bhasini, and AI-assisted tools being used across software development, documentation, knowledge management, and programme monitoring to improve productivity and service delivery.
The platform employs a nationwide phygital (physical + digital) approach with over 780 District Youth Offices facilitating grassroots outreach. Integration with Common Service Centres (CSCs) enables youth in rural and remote areas to register with assistance from Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). The platform collaborates with youth clubs, educational institutions, NSS units, Government Departments, NGOs, Not-for-Profit Organisations, and businesses to ensure wide participation across India, with location-based volunteering and ELPs available at district, block, panchayat, and village levels.
