The National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), a statutory organization under the Ministry of Cooperation, is implementing two fully-funded schemes: Yuva Sahakar and Swayam Shakti Sahakar. The Yuva Sahakar Scheme aims to encourage newly formed cooperative societies with innovative ideas, while the Swayam Shakti Sahakar Scheme facilitates access to affordable, cost-effective financial services for poor women Self Help Groups (SHGs) to undertake collective socio-economic activities promoting sustainable livelihood.
NCDC extends funding on a project basis and maintains operational oversight through its 19 Regional Offices and 9 sub-offices, which actively monitor scheme implementation and ensure timely credit flow to women cooperatives. The organization conducts periodic field visits and inspections for proper monitoring of loan disbursement under both schemes.
Notably, no cooperative from the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency in Haryana has submitted any proposal to NCDC under either scheme. This information was formally disclosed by Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah in a written reply presented in the Lok Sabha.
