NSO Releases 2022-23 and 2023-24 Supply and Use Tables

MoSPI's NSO released Supply and Use Tables for 2022-23 and 2023-24, the first under the new 2022-23 base year.
Total economic supply was ₹627.18 lakh crore in 2022-23 and ₹669.88 lakh crore in 2023-24, with services dominating at 51-52%.
The new series fully integrates annual estimates with the SUT framework, eliminating statistical discrepancies in GDP calculation.
Key improvements include refined corporate sector estimates, product-level tax allocation, and enhanced PFCE estimation using new datasets.
