He identified several emerging sectors waiting for youth talent and innovation, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Centers, Critical Minerals, Deep Sea Exploration, Quantum Computing, and Energy Security.
The speech announced substantial research funding initiatives, including the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation backed by an unprecedented funding target of up to ₹1 lakh crore. Modi also highlighted the 'One Nation One Subscription' program that ensures access to global research journals even in small cities without extra costs.
Addressing personal development, Modi cautioned graduates against comparing salaries, placements, or startup milestones with peers on social media, advising them to prioritize mental and physical well-being while focusing on self-improvement.
