Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will undertake diplomatic visits to three countries from July 6-11, 2026. The visit begins with Indonesia from July 6-8 at the invitation of President Prabowo Subianto, marking PM Modi's fourth visit to Indonesia and his first bilateral visit since the elevation of India-Indonesia ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in May 2018. The itinerary includes bilateral discussions with President Prabowo to review partnership progress, an address to the Indian Diaspora in Jakarta, and a visit to the Prambanan Temple complex at Yogyakarta, a UNESCO world heritage site.
From July 8-10, PM Modi will visit Melbourne, Australia, at the invitation of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The schedule includes bilateral discussions with PM Albanese, a call on the Governor General of Australia Sam Mostyn, participation in the India-Australia CEOs Forum where he will address business leaders from both countries, and an address to the Indian Diaspora community.
The final leg comprises a state visit to Auckland, New Zealand from July 10-11 at the invitation of Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. This marks the first state visit by an Indian Prime Minister to New Zealand in four decades. The visit includes bilateral discussions with PM Luxon to review the bilateral relationship, which has seen significant progress in trade, commerce, and defense over the last two years. PM Modi will also interact with prominent business and sports personalities and address a large gathering of the Indian Diaspora.
