The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises is implementing the One Station One Product (OSOP) initiative under the PM Vishwakarma (PMV) scheme to support Divyangjan (differently-abled) artisans. This initiative provides dedicated retail outlets at high-footfall railway stations to showcase and sell products made by traditional artisans and craftspeople, aiming to enhance their skills, access markets, and improve livelihoods through the three pillars of Samman, Samarthya, and Samriddhi.

As of the reporting date, 28 Divyang beneficiaries from different trades have been facilitated with stalls at various railway stations across 12 states. The trade-wise allotments include 5 cobblers (Gujarat, Maharashtra, UP, Delhi), 6 sculptors (Haryana, Odisha, Bihar, MP), 5 carpenters (Maharashtra, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan), 6 doll and toy makers (Maharashtra, UP, Puducherry, MP, Haryana), 2 metal smiths (Jharkhand), 2 basket makers (Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra), and 2 tailors (Goa, Haryana).

The initiative has demonstrated transformative impact on Divyangjan artisans toward economic self-reliance. Shri Atul, a Divyang sculptor specializing in crystal-based statues and utility products, received skill training under the PMV Scheme and was allotted a retail outlet at Platform No. 1, Indore Railway Station in January 2026, resulting in steadily rising sales. Shri Ajeet Sharma, a Divyang metalsmith, earned ₹19,000 within 15 days from his handcrafted metal products sold through his outlet near Deoghar railway station. Sh. Ghanshyam Kumawat, a carpenter from Jaipur, Rajasthan, was allotted a retail outlet near Gandhinagar Railway Station and earned significant revenue within 15 days from his wood products, improving his family's economic status.

The OSOP initiative focuses specifically on addressing the unique challenges faced by Divyangjan artisans by providing resources and opportunities to enhance their skills, access markets, and improve livelihoods, thereby fostering an inclusive environment where these artisans can thrive and contribute to India's rich heritage.
