PMEGP scheme fully utilized ₹13,554 crore budget to establish 403,706 micro-enterprises, surpassing its 402,000 target.
The program generated 36.33 lakh employment opportunities with 80% of units located in rural areas.
Women accounted for 40% of enterprises and received 45% of subsidy, while SC/ST/OBC beneficiaries represented 54%.
