PMFME Scheme Empowers 196,270 Micro Food Enterprises

Ministry of Food Processing Industries highlights achievements of PMFME Scheme with ₹10,000 crore outlay supporting micro food enterprises.
Scheme provided credit-linked subsidy to 196,270 individual enterprises with 40% women beneficiaries and seed capital to 400,000+ SHG members.
Approved 80 incubation centers and 32 branding proposals, generating employment for 588,810 individuals across food processing value chain.
Scheme extended till September 2026, focusing on formalization, technology adoption, and market linkages through ODOP approach across 726 districts.
