The President of India has appointed 14 judicial officers as judges and additional judges to four High Courts across the country. The appointments were made on September 19, 2026, under the powers conferred by the Constitution of India and after consultation with the Chief Justice of India.
The appointments include two judicial officers appointed as Judges of the Delhi High Court: Smt. Nivedita Anil Sharma and Smt. Nisha Sahay Saxena. Five judicial officers were appointed as Additional Judges of the Delhi High Court: Sanjay Sharma, Bharat Parashar, Dr. (Smt.) Aditi Choudhary, Dinesh Bhatt, and Arun Bhardwaj.
Yash Paul Bourney was appointed as a Judge of the J&K and Ladakh High Court. Three judicial officers were appointed as Judges of the Jharkhand High Court: Manoj Prasad, Akhil Kumar, and Ram Sharma. Three judicial officers were appointed as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court: Smt. Usharani, K.S. Bharath Kumar, and Smt. Nerale V. Bhavani.
