President Murmu Calls for Spiritual Reconnect with Nature

President Droupadi Murmu urged nation to reconnect with nature via “spiritual intelligence,” citing ecological crisis and ancient Pancha Bhuta wisdom.
She highlighted the Green India Challenge’s planting of over 19.6 crore saplings in eight years, plus 20,000 mangroves in Sundarbans.
The Koti Vriksharchana programme, launched in 2018, expanded from Telangana to a nationwide and global movement involving citizens and industry leaders.
Attendees included Rajya Sabha members K. R. Suresh Reddy, Vaddiraju Ravichandra, B. Pardhasaradhi Reddy, and author Joginipally Santosh Kumar.
