Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to China are complete.
The trip will be the latest meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping, who have held over 40 bilateral meetings.
Putin and Xi signed a "no limits" strategic partnership in February 2022, formalized shortly before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The announcement coincides with U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to China this week, adding geopolitical significance.
