Merchant purchases showed spot volumes ranging from USD 4,428 million on 10 Aug to USD 9,347 million on 12 Aug, with forward purchases between USD 1,677 million and USD 1,884 million and forward‑cancellation amounts up to USD 2,015 million. Inter‑bank spot purchases varied from USD 12,662 million on 14 Aug to USD 16,017 million on 12 Aug; forward purchases were between USD 1,073 million and USD 2,676 million, with cancellations up to USD 420 million. Inter‑bank swap purchases were substantial, ranging from USD 22,340 million to USD 26,153 million during the period.
On the sales side, merchant spot sales fluctuated between USD 4,953 million and USD 9,267 million, forward sales between USD 2,373 million and USD 3,213 million, and forward‑cancellation amounts up to USD 1,434 million. Inter‑bank spot sales were between USD 11,766 million and USD 15,617 million, forward sales between USD 1,744 million and USD 2,000 million, and swap sales from USD 21,302 million to USD 29,453 million, with cancellations up to USD 2,576 million.
