The Reserve Bank of India released the full auction results for two government securities. The New Government Security (GS) 2041 had a notified amount of ₹17,000 crore, while the 7.43% GS 2076 had a notified amount of ₹11,000 crore, bringing the total notified issuance to ₹28,000 crore.
Competitive bids received amounted to ₹49,600 crore for GS 2041 (276 bids) and ₹29,469 crore for GS 2076 (169 bids). The cut‑off yields were 7.0600% (YTM) for GS 2041 and 7.6212% (YTM) for GS 2076. Accepted competitive bids were ₹16,967.110 crore across 141 bids for GS 2041 (partial allotment 44.2881%) and ₹10,991.209 crore across 38 bids for GS 2076 (partial allotment 61.2129%). The weighted average price (WAP) was 100.05 (WAY 7.0540%) for GS 2041 and 97.67 (WAY 7.6116%) for GS 2076.
Non‑competitive bids received were 5 bids totaling ₹32.890 crore for GS 2041 and 4 bids totaling ₹8.791 crore for GS 2076; all non‑competitive bids were accepted. Underwriting covered the entire notified amounts, with the primary dealers underwriting ₹17,000 crore for GS 2041 and ₹11,000 crore for GS 2076. There was no devolvement on primary dealers.
In summary, the RBI successfully auctioned ₹28,000 crore of government securities, achieving substantial competitive participation, full underwriting coverage, and no dealer devolvement. The yields and allotment percentages reflect market demand and pricing for the two issues.
