Policy Rates and Liquidity

The RBI’s net liquidity position for the day of July 31, 2026 shows a total absorption of ₹2,45,912.00 crore, calculated as Repo + MSF + SLF – Reverse Repo – SDF. Cash Reserve Position of Scheduled Commercial Banks

As of July 31, 2026, scheduled commercial banks held cash balances with the RBI of ₹8,26,172.34 crore. The average daily cash reserve requirement for the fortnight ending July 31, 2026 was ₹8,15,720.00 crore.
