RBI launched the May 2026 Rural Consumer Confidence Survey covering 31 states/UTs to gauge household expectations on the economy, employment, prices, income and spending.
The survey is being conducted by Ipsos Research Private Ltd., Gurugram, with selected households approached directly and others able to submit responses via an online schedule.
Survey results will feed into monetary‑policy formulation; contact details for the Director, Division of Household Surveys are provided.
