Financial Stability and Inclusion
The net liquidity position indicates overall absorption of liquidity across the system, with the RBI’s operations withdrawing more than ₹1.3 lakh crore in total. The robust cash reserve balances and sizable durable liquidity surplus suggest ample liquidity buffers in the banking sector.
Overall, the RBI’s money‑market operations for the day reflected high repo activity, stable policy‑rate levels, and a net withdrawal of liquidity, while scheduled banks maintained strong cash‑reserve positions.
