RBI reported total overnight money market volume of ₹7,18,025.58 crore on April 28, 2026, with weighted average rate 5.05%.
Today's MSF injected ₹2,682.00 crore at 5.50% and SDF ₹3,10,269.00 crore at 5.00%, net liquidity absorption of –₹3,07,587 crore.
Cash reserves of scheduled commercial banks were ₹7,86,761.88 crore, with average daily CRR for the fortnight ending April 30 at ₹8,07,359 crore.
Net durable liquidity as of March 31, 2026 stood at ₹5,06,806 crore, indicating overall liquidity surplus in the system.
