Policy Rates and Liquidity

The RBI’s Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) operation on 05‑08‑2026 for a one‑day tenor matured on 06‑08‑2026, with an amount of ₹171.00 crore and a rate of 5.50%. The Standing Deposit Facility (SDF) on the same date and tenor amounted to ₹3,55,172.00 crore at a rate of 5.00%. Net liquidity injected from today’s operations was recorded as –₹3,55,001.00 crore, indicating a net absorption of liquidity. The Standing Liquidity Facility (SLF) availed from the RBI stood at ₹10,594.66 crore, and net liquidity injected from outstanding operations was also ₹10,594.66 crore.
