RBI reported total overnight money market volume of ₹13,701.83 crore at weighted average rate 5.17% on May 15, 2026.
Term segment saw ₹14,148.53 crore notice money at 5.24% and large repo operations totaling ₹5,37,831.80 crore at 5.08% weighted rate.
Net liquidity injection from today's operations was –₹2,57,359 crore, while outstanding operations resulted in net absorption of –₹2,48,221.57 crore.
Scheduled commercial banks held cash balances of ₹7,64,826.03 crore with RBI, exceeding the average daily cash reserve requirement of ₹7,87,838 crore.
