RBI reported total overnight money market volume of ₹6.86 Lakh crore with weighted average rate of 5.07% on May 7 2026.
Repo operations injected ₹10,795 crore at 5.26% cut‑off rate, while MSF absorbed ₹42 crore at 5.50% and SDF injected ₹2.56 Lakh crore at 5.00%.
Net liquidity from today's operations was a withdrawal of ₹2.45 Lakh crore, while overall outstanding operations showed a net injection of ₹8.61 crore.
Cash reserve balances of scheduled commercial banks stood at ₹7.75 Lakh crore, with surplus cash of ₹10,795 crore available for government auction.
