Capital markets and flows

A total of 2030 bids were received for the 2030 tranche, 2031 bids for 2031, 2032 bids for 2032, 2033 bids for the first 2033 tranche, and 2033 bids for the second 2033 tranche. The total bid amounts (face value) were ₹4,583 crore (2030), ₹8,915 crore (2031), ₹5,875 crore (2032), ₹11,470 crore (first 2033), and ₹19,015 crore (second 2033). The RBI accepted ₹2,820 crore, ₹8,430 crore, ₹1,600 crore, ₹2,735 crore and ₹9,415 crore respectively for these maturities. The high level of participation and the substantial oversubscription underscore robust demand for RBI‑issued securities in the primary market.

The auction results reflect the RBI's ongoing liquidity management strategy, confirming the effectiveness of the OMO mechanism in absorbing excess liquidity and providing a benchmark for market yields.
