The RBI auctioned 91‑day, 182‑day and 364‑day Treasury Bills with notified amounts of ₹9,000 cr, ₹8,000 cr and ₹7,000 cr respectively. The cut‑off yields were 5.2599 % (price 98.7056) for the 91‑day, 5.6588 % (price 97.2558) for the 182‑day and 5.9090 % (price 94.4351) for the 364‑day tenor. Weighted average yields, reflecting the overall price paid, were 5.2525 % (price 98.7074) for 91‑day, 5.6189 % (price 97.2746) for 182‑day and 5.8887 % (price 94.4532) for 364‑day bills.
Capital Markets and Flows
Competitive bids amounted to ₹29,550.360 cr (127 bids) for 91‑day, ₹33,133.000 cr (105 bids) for 182‑day and ₹14,285.300 cr (103 bids) for 364‑day securities, totalling ₹76,968.660 cr across all tenors. The RBI accepted 49, 18 and 66 competitive bids respectively, allocating ₹8,550 cr, ₹7,600 cr and ₹6,650 cr, which corresponds to partial allotment percentages of 18.2536 %, 34.1800 % and 63.8800 % of the competitive bids received.
Non‑competitive bids were received from 5, 5 and 4 participants for the three tenors, amounting to ₹1,966.295 cr, ₹4,011.612 cr and ₹1,351.818 cr respectively. All non‑competitive bids were accepted, with allocations of ₹1,950 cr, ₹4,000 cr and ₹1,344.330 cr, representing partial allotment rates of 96.5054 %, 97.1789 % and 97.9054 %.
