Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Shri Jual Oram is undertaking a four-day visit to Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand from October 1 to October 4, 2026. The itinerary includes multiple engagements focused on tribal welfare and social programs. On October 1, the Minister will travel to Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, to attend a program organized by the Senior Citizen Welfare Association at Pallavapuram, followed by an overnight stay in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand.

On October 2, Shri Oram will participate in a Swachh Bharat Abhiyan program at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Bazpur, Uttarakhand, returning to Ramnagar for the night. October 3 includes a visit to Kainchidham for temple darshan at Kainchidham Temple, followed by an inspection visit to EMRS Khatima, concluding with an overnight stay in Rudrapur.

The visit concludes on October 4 with attendance at the Uttarakhand Aadi Rangotsav cultural festival in Khatima before returning to New Delhi in the evening. The visit is framed as providing interaction opportunities with local stakeholders and officials regarding tribal education and welfare through the EMRS network, along with participation in social welfare and community engagement programs.
