Tribhuvan Cooperative University has expanded its academic offerings with three new MBA programs and five certificate courses specifically designed for the cooperative sector. During the academic year 2025-26, the university launched MBA programs in Cooperative Management, Cooperative Banking and Finance, and Agribusiness Management.
The university has also developed five specialized certificate courses for the professional management of cooperative societies, scheduled to be offered during 2026-27. These include a Certificate Course in Business Management and Governance for Secretaries and Staff of PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Society), a similar course for Primary Fisheries Cooperatives, another for Dairy Cooperative Societies, a Certificate Course in Leadership Development for Board of Directors of District Credit Cooperative Banks (DCCBs), and a Certificate Course in Cybersecurity specifically for Cooperative Banks.
These educational initiatives are designed to address the specific needs of primary agricultural credit societies, fisheries cooperatives, dairy cooperatives, and district credit cooperative banks, enhancing professional management capabilities across the cooperative ecosystem. The information about these new programs was formally disclosed by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah in a written reply presented in the Rajya Sabha.
