U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly weighing resumption of major combat operations against Iran amid stalled peace talks.
Trump’s frustration stems from the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz and what he describes as a fractured Iranian leadership.
The president cited “Project Freedom” to restore commercial shipping in Hormuz, previously sparking renewed military action earlier this month.
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei downplayed the U.S. stance, saying Tehran is “not concerned with the satisfaction of others.”
