Ukraine and the United States are preparing to sign a draft agreement to temporarily export Ukrainian unmanned systems for testing on American soil.
The intent, negotiated by the US Defense Department, Ukraine’s defence ministry and Ambassador Olha Stefanishyna, covers land, sea and air drone trials.
The draft highlights a “common interest” in future co‑operative production, development or purchase of Ukrainian technology to benefit US warfighters.
Ukraine has become a hub for drone innovation after more than four years of full‑scale war with Russia.
