3i Infotech Limited has intimated the stock exchanges about receiving an order from the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) dated July 30, 2026, pertaining to Assessment Year 2013-14.
The appeal concerned an assessment completed under Section 143(3) read with Section 263 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, which had resulted in a Transfer Pricing adjustment of ₹34.38 crore.
The Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) has allowed the company's appeal and deleted the entire Transfer Pricing adjustment of ₹34.38 crore, granting full relief to the company.
The order has no tax or cash flow impact on the company. The matter was not previously disclosed as a contingent liability because the company had sufficient carried forward tax losses. As a result of this order, the company's tax position for Assessment Year 2013-14 stands restored, preserving the carried forward tax losses available under the applicable provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961.
The disclosure is being made to the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, and the information will also be made available on the company's website at www.3i-infotech.com.
