ABB India Customs Penalty Order Rs. 14.56 Crore

ABB India received a customs order imposing a penalty of Rs. 3.56 crore and redemption fine of Rs. 11 crore for goods misclassification.
The order dated March 26, 2026 was issued by Commissioner of Customs, APACC, Bengaluru under Sections 114A and 125 of the Customs Act, 1962.
ABB India plans to appeal the order and does not expect it to have any material financial impact on the company.
