The Competition Commission of India (CCI) issued a letter dated 23.09.2026 regarding the company's application filed on 06.08.2026
CCI observed that Premier Explosives Limited's FY 2025-2026 turnover is less than ₹1250 crores
The proposed combination does not exceed thresholds specified under Competition (Minimum Value of Assets or Turnover) Rules, 2024 read with Section 5(e) of the Act
The target is de minimis for purposes of asset/turnover thresholds under Section 5(a) to 5(c) of the Act
The proposed combination is not a notifiable transaction under Section 5(d)
Therefore, it is not a combination as per Section 5 of the Act
CCI approval is not applicable for the acquisition of shares of Premier Explosives Limited
The application was filed as a precautionary measure to ensure complete compliance
