5. In case of default beyond the stipulated deadline, an additional interest rate of 2% per annum shall apply on the unpaid amount.

6. Upon transfer of the calculated amount, the authority shall ensure the petitioner receives the higher pension from October 2026 onward.

Final Outcome

  • The petition (WPA 21795 of 2026) is disposed of with the above directions.
  • No order as to costs.
  • An urgent photostat certified copy of the order may be obtained by the parties upon usual undertaking.
