Atlanta Electricals Limited has disclosed the withdrawal of a Debarment Order previously issued by South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL).
Background and Resolution
- SBPDCL had issued a Debarment Order dated 24th April, 2026 (Letter No. 516) in relation to Purchase Order No. 58 dated 12th October, 2023
- The company had previously disclosed this order on 14th May, 2026 under SEBI LODR Regulations
- SBPDCL has now withdrawn the Debarment Order vide its Letter No. 1100 dated 13th August, 2026 with immediate effect
- The withdrawal follows the company's appeal and detailed submissions before the competent authority
Company's Position
- The company had submitted representations clarifying that the matter pertained to a single isolated observation during post-test inspection at CPRI, Bhopal
- The company maintained that there was no established design failure or systemic quality issue
- SBPDCL considered the company's appeal, submissions, and facts of the matter before deciding to withdraw the order in its entirety
