Bajaj Auto Limited has disclosed a cyber security incident involving a ransomware attack that impacted the systems of both the company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Bajaj Auto Technology Limited (BATL).

The incident occurred on 23 June 2026 at approximately 08:00 a.m. Indian Standard Time (IST).

Upon becoming aware of the incident, the company's technical team along with cyber security experts and management responded promptly. They initiated necessary precautionary actions and protocols to mitigate the impact of the incident. Based on available information at the time of disclosure, these mitigation efforts have been successful.

The company has intimated the incident to CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) in accordance with the requirements of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
