Supreme Court heard Special Leave Petition No. 1457/2018 filed by Bank of Baroda & Ors against the estate of K.K. Bhatia.
The Court determined the bank owes approximately Rs 50,590 as superannuation arrears to the deceased employee’s beneficiaries.
Interest at 6 % per annum from the employee’s death in 2015 was ordered, with total payment due within eight weeks.
The Special Leave Petition and any pending applications were disposed of, concluding the litigation.
