Bhageria Industries GST Demand Order ₹1.05 Cr

Bhageria Industries received a GST demand order of ₹1,05,22,565 in IGST for ineligible Input Tax Credit for FY2019-20.
The demand, confirmed under Section 74(9) of CGST Act 2017, also includes equal penalty and interest under Section 50.
The company intends to file an appeal before the Commissioner (Appeals) and states no financial/operational impact.
