Bharat Coking Coal Reports Unauthorized Stoppage at ABOCP Mine

Bharat Coking Coal Limited reports an illegal work stoppage at its ABOCP Mine (Block-II) by unorganized persons, halting all coal production and dispatch since April 2, 2026.
The stoppage is linked to demands from local workers, whose shale-picking work has become largely redundant due to reduced departmental production and outsourced coal crushing.
The company has escalated the matter by filing an FIR, notifying the local police, CISF, and internal HR and industrial relations heads, as per regulatory disclosure requirements.
