Bharti Airtel Receives DoT Penalty Notice ₹1 Lakh

Bharti Airtel received a penalty notice of ₹1,00,000 from DoT Jammu & Kashmir LSA on March 25, 2026.
The penalty is for alleged violation of subscriber verification norms under the License Agreement during Q3 FY2025-26 CAF Audit.
Airtel disputes the notice and intends to take appropriate action for rectification or reversal of the penalty.
